B2B Electronic Data Interchange Software

Our EDI web application was designed to enhance automation and streamline the ordering process between one of our clients and their customers. The software is tailored to the specific needs of our client and facilitates efficient communication between parties.

The application detects new orders placed by the company's client through regular checks of order placement files on the shared server. An email notification is sent to the company's email address, informing them of the new order and performing a preliminary check on the availability of ordered quantities. The order is then displayed in the list of placed orders in the web app, which can be filtered based on order status (to be processed / processed). Details of order placements (requested delivery date, delivery address, goods reference, goods amount, etc...) can be viewed through the web app.
The company will then be able to process and confirm the order entirely if all goods can be delivered or partially if not all goods can be delivered.

Once an order has been confirmed an order confirmation file will be sent to the company's client and a dispatch note draft will be generated for the confirmed items on the EDI web app.
This dispatch note draft will show up in the list of dispatch notes in the web app which can be filtered on status (to be processed / processed). Details of these dispatch notes can be viewed in the same way as details order placements but through the "Dispatch Note" section in the web app.
The company will then have to submit an estimated delivery date for the shipment and confirm the dispatch note.

When the dispatch note has been confirmed and sent to the company's client an invoice draft for the shipped goods will be generated in the EDI web app.
Prices of goods are fetched from the company's database to further automate the process. All invoices and invoice drafts are listed and can be filtered based on their status (to be processed / processed). The company will then have to verify and confirm the invoice. Invoice drafts can be processed separately or can be combined together to create a single invoice.

In summary, our EDI web application provides an efficient and automated solution for managing the ordering process between a company and their clients. It offers real-time monitoring of order placement, inventory management, and shipping information, while also automating the process of invoice generation and management.
